I DO have more exciting news!!

We are going to Dubai!! I said earlier that Tyler is going to Saudi Arabi to the job site on Sunday. They were scheduled to come back to Germany on Wednesday, but one of the Kilpatrick partners in the Dubai office suggested Tyler stop by there on his way back. So, we are going to fly me over to meet him! I am so excited!! I have already looked up going to Ski Dubai!!

  1. THAT IS SO EXCITING!! Do NOT let them talk him into becoming the next associate based in Dubai, that is just too much for us folks at home.
How long will you stay? Will you have to dress all Muslim-y?

I do not think you have been boring - it is fun to me to hear about the day to day. What kind of job was it? I bet it was at the coffe shop where you hang out - they probably thought if you are going to be there all the time anyway you should start helping out around there. And that guy was tring to pick you up - you have not been engaged THAT long that you don't remember what that's like! He probably said something to you in German and you did not react so he decided, forget it!

  2. I just now got the link for your blog from Susan and got caught up on reading all your posts. LOVED reading all of them and hearing about all your adventures. Maybe we can Skype sometime and talk. I know that you are 7 hours ahead of us. The last time I talked to Tyler was right after he moved there. Let me know when a good day to talk would be. Maybe after you get back from Dubai! Have fun!

  3. Mom, it was our female waitress at the Thai restaurant. I would totally wash dishes at the coffee shop! We can't figure it out though, we have yet to see the same employee and we go every day!
Sonja...weekends are definitely best to skype because of the time difference! Maybe Saturday, we will be around most of the day and Tyler isn't leaving for Saudi til Sunday morning. Let me know a good time for you!

  4. WOW are you guys having life changing adventures or what? It has been fun reading your blog; keep it up. I read that June was the hottest month on record since ...1880, I think. Your lack of AC makes you a real trooper. Have you been swimming any? Skiing in the desert ..what a concept. love to both of you. Rita Mc.
